Summary[]
The Hi Shin Unit arrives just in time to assist General Heki's subjugation army. As the oncoming Zhao Army charges, the Hi Shin Unit, Kyou Kai orders the infantry to halt the Zhao's advance with Gouriki, one of the new tactics invented by Kyou Kai. Although some of the soldiers were damaged with the "Gouriki", they stopped the Zhao's advance, allowing the Hi Hyou, the former troops of the Duke Hyou Army, to use their combat specialty to engage the Zhao.
Back at Heki's HQ, Ka Ryo Ten arrives and assures Heki that the right flank has been secured and he can return his attention to the center. Heki notices how much Ka Ryo Ten has matured since they last saw each other, and Ten catches him looking at some "weird places". Ten assures Heki that the Hi Shin Unit will be fine against the 10,000 Zhao, and notes how the unit has become much stronger.
Since the last two years, Kyou Kai became a 1000-Man Commander while Shin was recently promoted into a 4000-Man Commander, the Hi Shin Unit is now a 5,000 combined Unit. Shin has started to train himself in order to wield the late General Ou Ki's glaive, and clearly plans on becoming the type of great general who leads his soldiers from the front, just like Duke Hyou and Ou Ki.
In a day, the subjugation army with assistance from the Hi Shin Unit is able to repel the Zhao Army at the Battle on the Mei Plains. The original plan was to pursue the rebel army back to the city of Tonryuu, but the Heki army's casualties and the Hi Shin Unit's exhaustion from dashing towards the battle at full speed means they need to rest.
Later on, Shin shows up at Heki's HQ along with Ten, Kyou Kai, Gaku Rai, and So Sui. They have all clearly grown much stronger as they appear to tower over Heki and Kaku Un. They reunite and start moving to the city of Tonryuu
