Gi Kou's Crossbow Team is the 31st chapter of the Kingdom manga.
Summary[]
Ei Sei divided his army in the main unit and a side unit. The unit's mission is to capture Sei Kyou.
While the main army is fighting Shi Shi forces, the side unit is entering a corridor where Sa Ji is waiting for them. Ei Sei's main army is under heavy fire by crossbows launched by the Gi Kou unit. Ei Sei wants to temperately retreat, but Yo Tan Wa says that will not be necessary.
Meanwhile, the side unit is headed to the throne room through the right dragon corridor. Heki mentions that he memorized the path to the throne room, because of the dragon corridor being a maze.
In main unit, Yo Tan Wa refuses to back down from crossbows and orders an assault formation. 3 of the mountain people that were hit by the initial assault of the Gi Kou unit are still alive and started slaying members of the Gi Kou unit. Bringing the Gi Kou unit in a state of confusion.
Ei Sei's side unit is confronted by enemy soldiers in the dragon corridor.
