Shi Ba Shou , also known as the Lord of Seika, is an Great General of the Zhao Military and the newest member of the Three Great Heavens, having been appointed to the position in-between the Zhao's Retaliation Arc and Hango Campaign Arc to fill one of the vacancies. The city lord of Seika, a city in the far east of Zhao, Shi Ba Shou notably granted sanctuary to Ri Boku and his vassals when they were ousted from Kantan following the succession of the next king of Zhao, Yuu Boku.
Shi Ba Shou was first mentioned by Ri Boku when the Great Heaven was discussing his abilities and military prowess during Ordo Army's sudden invasion into eastern Zhao. Since then, he has become the secondary central antagonist of the Hango Campaign Arc.
Appearance[]
Shi Ba Shou is a man of gigantic height as his feet crumble the very earth underneath him and towering over his men, Kan Saro, Ji Aga, and Gaku Shou who themselves are quite tall. He has curly, long hair that reaches his shoulders with two twin tails on top and a small goatee on his chin. He wears a decorated armor ordain with motifs of horses with fur coat around his neck and a cape.
Personality[]
Shi Ba Shou appears to be a somber man with a melancholic air around who doesn't speak much. However, he cares deeply about his deputies and the citizens of Seika above anything else. Due to this he was hesitant of taking the position of a Great Heaven but showed his honorable side as he gave sanctuary and refuge to Ri Boku who was ousted from Kantan.
History[]
Before the events of the story line, Shi Ba Shou's talents in warfare caught the eyes of Ri Boku. In recognition of his abilities, Ri Boku sent his recommendation of Shi Ba Shou for a seat in the Three Great Heavens. Tou Jou, the king of Zhao followed his proposal and summoned Shi Ba Shou for a promotion ceremony. However, Shi Ba Shou declined, using illness as an excuse, eventually spreading out as a rumor that continues to the present day. But in actuality, he simply hated the Zhao King and his depraved corruption in Central Zhao.
Story[]
Western Zhao Invasion Arc[]
When the Qin invasion army began marching towards Zhao, Ri Boku pulled massive troops toward the western front. This gave Great General Ordo of Yan the chance to invade the eastern borderlands of Zhao and seize multiple cities and castles along the way. When he turned his eyes toward Seika, Shi Ba Shou set out with 5,000 of his men in order to challenge him on the fields. Ri Boku states, that in this case, they do not need to worry about the eastern front.
Zhao Crisis Arc[]
After receiving a letter, Shi Ba Shou granted Ri Boku and his remaining forces sanctuary within his lands and city.
Hango Campaign Arc[]
Before the battle, Shi Ba Shou meets with his vassals Kan Saro and Ji Aga inside Hango city. His army was placed in the center directly opposing the Ou Sen Army. Before the clash he wished good luck to his generals. Once the Den Ri Mi Army came out to slay Ji Aga he led his personal troops to ambush them and kill Duke Da Rin. He then moved forward to attack Ou Sen's HQ.

Shi Ba Shou is a military commander with skills considered on the level of the Three Great Heavens of Zhao and later becoming official member of the group. During the war with Yan he was able to hold back the Ordo Army with ease despite massive number disadvantage, further demonstrating his capabilities.
Physical Abilities[]
Immense Strength: Shi Ba Shou, given his large body frame, possesses a tremendous amount of physical prowess as he cleaved through Duke Da Rin along with a few of his soldiers in a single strike.[2] Later he was able to break through Ou Sen's personal guard platoons and killed his first general A Kou with a single stroke.
Leadership[]
Shi Ba Shou is a great leader who commands his men effectively in battlefields. His personal elite unit of the "Heroes of Seika" unflinchingly used themselves as human shields as to protect him from the coordinated attacks of the Ou Sen Army's Tiger's Anguish Formation, easily stopped the Gyoku Hou Army's pincer attack which impressed Kan Jou with their martial valor and fighting spirit.[3] With a short and simple speech, he was able to create an explosion of morale powerful enough to turn the tables on Ou Sen Army.[4]
Tactical Abilities[]
Shi Ba Shou proves to be a capable strategist. He sealed off A Kou Army, Sou'Ou Army, and Den Ri Mi Army with armies of his vassals to create a direct path for him to strike directly toward the core army of Ou Sen Army.[5]

- Various Shaolin fighting styles refer to a person going by this name.
- Shi Ba Shou bears a striking resemblance to Funny Valentine, the central antagonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run. This could be on purpose on Yasuhisa Hara's part since he is a friend and associate of Hirohiko Araki.
- Shi Ba Shou's character design could also be a reference to Qilin - a creature of Chinese mythology that is said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or illustrious ruler.
